CUSTOMS

These are the miniatures I customized for my initial Jade Falcon unit. Since I did not touch the base at all, technically they were still legal for tournament play too, although I had one or two people complain that they couldn't tell what version it was immediately without looking at the base. Which of course didn't stop me from using them anyways.

As a side note, when I chose the initial colors I was torn between green and gold and green and silver, as I could find evidence for either. I went for green and gold as I thought it was more striking(and it is the colors of an actual CBT-era Galaxy) though Wizkids went for the silver in the end.

Nova Prime
My first mod and repaint, done when MWDA was brand new. I was always a big fan of the Nova Prime in the board game, and the Dragon's Fury version was plainly the Prime variant, so I removed some of the "steampunk-ish" addons and modded the weapons on the arms to visually bring it back in line. My personal 'mech.

Kit Fox Prime
Another classic Falcon 'mech is the Kit Fox. This was a simple repaint in the colors I'd chosen previously for the Nova. This was also originally a Dragon's Fury version.

Arbalest
The Arbalest was a new Light 'mech design. I liked the way the unique Spirit Cat version played, and it's stats had a Clan feel to it, so I claimed it as another member of my CJF Star.

Cougar Prime
The Cougar Omnimech was originally designed and deployed by Clan Jade Falcon, so when a variant came out which was obviously supposed to be a Cougar Prime, I took the opportunity to repaint it. The heat dial isn't as Clan-ish, but it's close enough. (Base was the RotS Cougar)

Gnome Battle Armor
A second star of Gnomes, all repainted in the color scheme used for the Elementals back in the old Battletech cartoon. These were done before Wizkids gave us actual Elemental minis, and while it was a pain to paint the tiny details, I liked how they came out. This is the only decent picture I have of them right now.

Fire Moth II
I also did a mod and repaint of the Dasher II aka Fire Moth II. I swapped the arms so that it matched the sihlouette of it's 20-ton predecessor, and painted it in my personal Falcon colors, to finish the second Star.
